Just being supportive chaps is all, absolutely no self-interest here.

Let me know what you're selling, so I can also support your decision to quit video games!

Strange, I go through periods where I don't game. As a matter of fact, I have been more interested in reading trade paperbacks and graphic novels than playing games lately. It never occurs to me to just sell all my stuff though. Maybe if it was out of necessity I would do it, but otherwise I don't see any reason to, even if I am going through another no gaming phase

Can I be a nerd for a second and quote Spock?

"After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing, after all, as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true."

I've been in and out of lots of hobbies. I bet most intelligent, undiagnosed manic depressives have. I've never regretted moving on. Do you have any art work online for us to see? I wish had had a talent in the visual arts. My only interest that's been a constant is playing music (jazz or classical mostly), everything else has come and gone (some have returned only to go again).

I've been thinking about doing this in the last 4 or 5 months...but I can't bring myself to at all. I know I'll suddenly want to play them again when they're gone.

I read ya, and there will be a silvering moment when you gotta ask, are you playing or hoarding?

I do have 100+ games from several systems, and I am damn sure that I am not going to play everyone of them, so I am selling or donating them.

Hope you can find the best solution for yourself.
