Check out Spida1a's channel on youtube. He's got quite a lot of Turbografx, turbo cd, super cd and pc engine reviews up, some of which aren't on VC and some of which are. I do believe he's gradually trying to work through the lot, so it's worth keeping an eye on.

I bought a PCE Duo just to play Super Darius and Super Darius II. They are that awesome.

But I'm sort of a Darius nut.

In that case, I recommend you get yourself a copy of Darius Alpha! Since you already have the other two PCE Darius games, this is a no brainer!

Isn't Darius Alpha mega expensive? I was looking at some prices of some of the Hu Cards recommended by people in this thread and other threads. Most games outside of sports and Keith are kinda pricey. I was thinking of getting one of these

Anyone have experience with it? They are expensive at $150 but after buying probably 5 or 6 good Hu Card games, I would be money ahead by just buying one of these.

That was the joke. It's not even a full game. It's just an extra boss rush mode from Super Darius, but missing the actual full game. It's just a rare promotional cartridge.

Way cheaper if you get the Japanese versions.

 Why not just use an emulator?

FYI, there is a WAY cheaper way to play pirated PCE games on a real PCE system. I'll cost about $1, if that. Don't waste $150 on an unnecessary flash cart. Google will probably help you here.

Can I just point how how amusing I thought it was that you said you weren't going to read his list because it wasn't in alphabetical order .. and then proceeded to write a list of your own, ALSO not in alphabetical order?

The only two TG-16 games I've played to completion are Castlevania: Rondo of Blood (really good) and Neutopia (meh, Zelda-ish). I'd definitely recommend a copy of Castlevania.

Interesting debate, because the VC does have a surprisingly excellent PCE game selection, and getting a PCE Duo is quite pricey. Some exclusives that haven't yet made it to the US/PAL VC worth tracking down:

PCE HuCards
Coryoon (very color cute 'em up)
Ninja Ryukendan (interesting port of Ninja Gaiden)
Parodius (fantastic port)
Raiden (yet another awesome arcade port)
Salamander (another great from Konami)

CD-ROMs
Asuka 120% Maxima Burning Fest. (Arcade CD)
Downtown Nekkutsu Monogatari (River City Ransom port)
Sutoraida Hiryu (Strider port, Arcade CD)
Seirei Senshi Spriggan (one of the best shmups on the system)
Kaizou Choujin Schbibinman 3 (great Mega Man rip off)

You can also find complete greatest games lists for the PCE at my site, but there's no easy way to sort away the ones that are already available on the VC.
I run the 8/16-bit retro site TimeWarpGamer and if you want to follow the latest updates, check me out on Twitter.

Another suggestion is Somer Assault/Mesopotamia - I have no idea on pricing, rarity or whatever, but I know it looked interesting. Some sort of action game where you play as a slinky.

The Fantasy Zone port on TG16 isnt too expensive and is decent. It'd hardly a must-have though.

Haha, true. BUT, but my list was short enough to fit into a 3 and a half line sentence. The VC list isn't even close to being that short.
