Best PS2 Street Fighter game and arcade stick?
Re: Best PS2 Street Fighter game and arcade stick?
On a PS2 playing imports without a modchip is pretty damn dicey.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Has street fighter 3 been emulated properly? And if yes, can a 7 year PC (which was kind of weak at the time) run it?sevin0seven wrote:um....MAME?ZeroAX wrote:Any other suggestions?

Made me post this again, fast HD loading and no Mod Chip: HDAdvance/HDLoader with a flip top.Flake wrote:On a PS2 playing imports without a modchip is pretty damn dicey.
For the stick I love the PSX BLAZE TWIN SHOCK, an easy to mod as a Twin Stick as well.

The Alpha collection yes, but is it as good as the proper series? I always thought Alpha was supposed to be inferior.noiseredux wrote:was the Alpha Collection released there? Or the Capcom Collections?

I'll take your word on it noise. Thanks for the help guys.
One last question. Anyone know of any good, and not way too expensive arcade sticks for the PC? The little I looked, I couldn't find anything. Though I've heard some 360 arcade sticks work on PC.

Alpha's different than II. I prefer II personally, but many people swear by the Alpha series.

Those are fighting words.ZeroAX wrote: The Alpha collection yes, but is it as good as the proper series? I always thought Alpha was supposed to be inferior.
Street Fighter Alpha was the evolution of the SF series. Each of the games is its own little master piece. Brand new artwork, more emphasis on character specific story lines, and a real focus on making the fights as dramatic and fluid as possible.

I'm not a huge Street Fighter fan. I have 4 and love it, but not enough to check out the entire series. Specially since as a kid I was more of a Mortal Kombat kid (since I owned a Mega Drive

You should tell your friend to pass on Street Fighter and get into King of Fighters.
