Yes, CDI games. Every Zelda CDI game, Burn Cycle, some saucy risque title with a French name, and "Kether", a title which the Video Game Critic rated at an A- or something. $2.99 a game.

Alas, I do not. However, I bought the titles I had read good reviews for (like Burn Cycle) and I believe at least one of the Zelda games is valuable. I did a little research on these when I got home, but does anyone here know much more than what I saw in the sparse "completed listings" section on ebay?

I remember playing vouyer as a kid and it was pretty cool.

burncycle is a feakin sweeeet game if you've never played it [there was a PC version but I'm pretty sure the CD-I had significantly better FMV]

nice find
7800, Jaguar, NES2, SNES, GC, Wii, GB, GBC, GBA, DS, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, 3DO, NGPC

Wand of Gamelon and Zelda's Adventure are ok games, Faces of Evil is awful. I lost my copies many years ago, but when I do see them at auction, unless they are pristine, they go for $20-50 a pop. The pristine ones go for $100+. So if you do ever decide to part with them, I will pay you good money...

If you go into them thinking they are fantasy adventure games and not Zelda games, they are not that bad, but compared to the Zelda series they are just atrocious. Though no matter how you go into Faces of Evil it is a bad game, shame to since it is the most common of them.

And Burn Cycle rocks. Its like a SCUMM version of a Neuromancer fanfiction. There may be better ways to describe it but I think that gets the point across confusing enough. As for your other two, Voyeur is soso, its like NightTrap, and Kether Ive never played. Overall it is a fantastic find. Beats the videogame stuff I find at my Goodwill, granted I have made a bit off the Crystal and Silver Ive picked up there - $3 for a $60 fork...

Dude, I might take you up on an offer for those Zelda games.

I sure wish I could find a CDI system for BurnCycle though! The reason I got these (Zelda titles notwithstanding) is cause I've read about them as GOOD cdi games on www.videogamecritic.net, another gaming site where I participate regularly. Those machines are kinda pricey on eBay though... it's enough to make me wish the dude who donated all these just went whole hog and gave away his CDI system too.

(Oh yeah, I've also made pretty well on silver deals, but that's mostly at pawn shops. 120 mercury dimes for $80. Woot.)

I like your style, sadly the pawnshop owners in my area are misers and rarely let a good deal pass by. One still sells Sega CD games at retail prices, Mad Dog McCree - $50...

As far as Kether goes... The guy at Collector's Cards and Games has it for $5 if he has it in stock.

I know, it's friggin ridiculous. This pawn shop here was trying to sell the Mario Bros/Duck Hunt NES game for 20 bucks, and a bunch of PS1 sports games for like 20 a piece. Now that I think of it everything was like 20 bucks....he was just lazy. "How much you want for this statue of a poodle?" you ask. "20 bucks!"
