Nah, I actually went for a drive today, did a few errands, read some Fables and will be watching Chuck and Monday Night Raw later tonight. Still, this girl keeps popping up in my thoughts lately
I'm excited for Chuck tonight!! 8)

Just finished watching forty minutes ago, it was pretty awesome wasn't it? Nice Charlie's angel vibe to it.

I really wish more people talked about this show. It's excellent. Full of geeky pop culture references(Chuck's living space alone has comic books, geeky movie posters, an Xbox 360 controller, etc.) awesome guest cameos(Timothy Dalton, Linda Hamilton, etc.), action, romance, comedy and plenty of cool super spy stuff. It's just a perfect show. Hoping it will get picked up for another season

Fucking thousands of meters, man.
Yes. I know that. I'm not stupid. I know how far 30 or 50 miles away is but I wouldn't have a fucking clue without actually looking it up if you asked me how far away 30 or 50KM is in terms of reference. Like I know that from here to Bradford is roughly 11 miles and know exactly how long it would take me to get there in a car. Couldn't tell you how long it is in KM, I could work it out, but why bother when I have a perfectly good from of reference?

Fixed, and

1 Mile = 5,280 Feet

1 Foot = 12 inches

on the other hand

1 Kilometer = 1000 Meters

1 Meter = 100 CM

Plus, all American engineers I've ever talked to curse the day they were born in the only country that doesn't use the metric system

Sometimes the jokes work. Sometimes they don't.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
