This is what I was planning. I don't know how much time I'll have to use the song, let alone splice it, with everything going on with my website and such.

General Norris, I like ya alot, but this example is a failure.
This is what happens when you don't play for months  (However note that I didn't mention 3 because of the Sliding).
I thought that was just a typo. :P

Anyways, my point stands. Would you say that if Megaman 2 didn't have a Password System and E-Tanks it wouldn't be a "real game", but a glorified expansion pack? Would you say it was stupid to pay full price for the game when it was released?
Well, considering (to my knowledge) expansion packs weren't around back then, no I wouldn't. :P But no, I wouldn't say it's stupid to pay full price for a new Mega Man game.
(I bought Mega Man 9 and 10 when they first showed up on PSN)

Konami's Bemani music game series > Guitar Hero & Rock Band

Konami was and still is the king of music games. Namco's Taiko no Tatsujin is awesome too. These American companies try to copy the Japanese at their own game but they fail miserably.

For those of you who enjoy the American music games, you should really try out the Japanese music games sometime.

While from a technical perspective the Bemani stuff is better, you're also up against the fact that the American games have a completely different style of music in them. And as much as I love the J-Pop in DDR, if I'm going to be pretending to play a guitar I want to be busting out Deep Purple.

Rock Band will never die. The Harmonix games will always have a place in my heart. Guitar Hero was always just an expansion of FreQuency and Amplitube.

I remember when I first played Guitar Hero. The American music was so fucking bad compared to the amazing Japanese music of Konami's Guitar Freaks. Also, the band playing in the background was so ugly. The gameplay itself was basically identical, however.

I enjoyed the Guitar Hero series and several other rhythm games years ago but it became stale with too many releases year after year of the same game. I stopped with Guitar Hero III. However, I still played the new games in the series at stores or a friend's house just to play the new music tracks but at the end of the day it's Activision's own fault for the death of the franchise.
