Kindle Help

Post by SpaceBooger »

I just got my wife a Kindle for her 30th B-day.
We found some free books through Amazon and it was like pulling teeth. Can anyone give the ins and outs of owning a Kindle, like where the good deals are and all that stuff.
Thanks in advance.

I don't have one but I have done some research on the topic.

Get the free (open source actually?) program called Calibre.

Then you can convert formats. You will then be able to grab free books from the web (look up Project Gutenberg I think) , convert them into .pdf or amazon format or whatever you want and read them on the Kindle.

Here. Let me just give you a free library's worth of books to read.
