Do you read Kotaku or other Gawker sites?

My first reaction was to stop visiting the site, but then I heard about classic view, so that's what I use now.

I like the new layout. Much cleaner. But some people I know are having problems loading the pages.

I prefer Joystiq and Autoblog. Kotaku and Jalopnik are annoying. Especially Kotaku's writers who write notes to each other and post them on the blog. WHO CARES?

I absolutely despise the new layout. You get less info in the preview of an article on the main page, and the comments load kind of weird sometimes. It's amazing how bad it is, and considering the massive backlash against it, it really sounds like whoever designed it royally screwed things up.

I hadn't been on Kotaku in months and happened to check a day or two ago (before seeing this thread) and had such trouble navigating it that I just closed the tab.

The new format is horrible. How do designs like this get approved? And because it is a network of sites, I get screwed three times - Kotaku, Jalopnik, and io9.

Considering people even hated the new Racketboy layout, it's safe to say that you can't change anything in the internet ever.

The old Kotaku design was cluttered mess. I didn't even know where to look most of the time. The new one is more streamlined.

What sucks for me is that if I simply type "kotaku.com" I get redirected to the horrible Brazilian Kotaku. That's something to get pissed off about.
