Re: Guitar Hero is dead
I, for one, am glad that Guitar Hero is going the way of the dinosaur! I never understood the fascination with any of the rhythm game genre and was thoroughly annoyed when it seemed to be everywhere. You'd walk into Wal-Mart and there was a whole isle of fake musical instruments and far too many children demanding them. So, I'm sorry to rant a little there, but I'm glad its gone!

Didn't know they were coming back. If they don't fall at the same time as the IVGHOF Big Bang or Three Dog Night in Wisconsin Dells, we might have to meet up.MrPopo wrote: Hell, I'd be fine with live versions of their stuff. They're playing June 26th. Tickets might be sold out already; they went on sale a few weeks ago. Three Dog Night is some good times, though. I saw them when they toured with Kansas last year.YoshiEgg25 wrote:Didn't know they were coming back. Probably, but I remember last year there were a lot floating around StubHub for a decent price.MrPopo wrote: They're playing June 26th. Also, you saw them with Kansas last year? When I went, they were with Blood, Sweat, and Tears. It may have been standing room only, but it was the best $10 I spent all year.

This is what happens when you don't play for monthsGSZX1337 wrote:General Norris, I like ya alot, but this example is a failure.General_Norris wrote: Are not Megaman 2, 4, 5, 6 acceptable sequels? Because they added nothing, they were more of the same except for the new level design. Which is, you know, the point.
Anyways, my point stands. Would you say that if Megaman 2 didn't have a Password System and E-Tanks it wouldn't be a "real game", but a glorified expansion pack? Would you say it was stupid to pay full price for the game when it was released?

You know I really liked Tony Hawk's American Sk8land. It was very arcade-y and simple, music worked, graphics were...DS quality. Although, Activision kept re-hashing the same damn thing over and over, and Every tony hawk game was worse than the one before it in my opinion. Not a bad loss for the gaming industry at all.Droid party wrote:Good to hear.flamepanther wrote:Activision wrote:We will release no new music or skateboarding gamesThey really need to go back to the drawing board on that franchise. I'm not apposed to them releasing a new game per-say, but the franchise was stale, boring and ultimately bad in general. I didn't even get around to the last one but I heard enough to make me not want to bother. Sad when you consider how good it all started out.

Re: Guitar Hero is dead
yeah but what about POWER GIG?!?!

also,
i can rip it for you if you want, but it's at my dad's house so it'll be a bit before i can get that way.

also,
my copy of thick as a brick is a cd released in the 90's by chrysalis, before the remaster, and it has one, single track. 48 minutes.YoshiEgg25 wrote:Except that the whole song is never found as one song, but two, as it was split to both sides of the album.
The whole album is this single song.
Also it's really hard to find an mp3 of the whole song. I have the iTunes version, but it's split in two AND the computer with it is back at home and not with me at college.
Well...time to go Googlin'...
