Street Fighter Movie Casting

Post by racketboy »

This actually looks like a good job of casting so far:

As I mentioned on the article comments, I think the overall quality will really come down to what they plan for the "story" and probably the quality of the action sequences. But casting for this type of thing can be quite important as a gaming fan will quickly write it off if they don't buy the actors as the characters they portray.

I'm actually surprised they're making another one. Hadn't heard about this until now.

I will watch anything with Kristen Kreuk in it. If the movie is made with a real good focus on 1-on-1 fighting like the animated movie or the Mortal Kombat movie then that would be great.

Oh yeah, I was thinking Masters of the Universe. I only watched Street Fighter once. They are both fine actors, though.

I didn't know Kylie Monogue was Cammy. That's funny....
And Rual Julia as M. Bison....what was he thinking....$$$

I don't care who they cast. A director is what makes or breaks a movie nine times out of ten.

If it's this guy:

I'm not expecting much

You're soo right.

This guy did "Exit Wounds." The finest Steven Segal movie(that really is an oxymoron) I've seen. Ohh but he was the Cinematograhper for "Twins".....

What more evidence do you need that this is going to be a stinker?

Street Fighter is best as a game or an Anime. The movie sucked the first time, the video game based on the movie sucked. Why keep stabbing the dead hooker you killed last wednesday?
