Other than the internet being for porn mostly, you can use it to help you on your do it yourself projects. The few things i know how to do is change spark plugs which is as long as you dont screw up the threading when putting them in, or changing the altenator belt on a vehicle. Most things can take just a few minutes to do, and with older vehicles there easy to maintain too.

Engine swaps do cost money but you will get more omph for your vehicle. You could turn your Honda into a sleeper car where it looks like it has nothing on the outside but it can burn rubber from those pesky ricers and their crappy 10 dollar "car mods".

Over a quarter-million dollars spent on a car whose chassis is so think that Michael Keaton could punch through it. :D
Congrats on getting your own non-weaponized vehicle though Mod Man X.

Everything I've seen for changing the alternator involves jacks, ratchets and other tools, we don't own anything aside from a screwdriver. Not to mention In have to take damn the engine apart and replace both the timing belt and water pump at the same time.

Oh, and I'm in an HOA neighborhood. That means anything aside from changing my oil in the garage or installing a new battery means a steep fine.

Thanks Pako!

We're hopefully getting it here tomorrow morning as I finally got it insured.

UPDATE!

Car needs work on the interior (It's vomit blue so I'm dying it black, and the carpet liner is practically threadbare so I'm gonna replace it outright with a modern soundproofed one).
My window seals/weatherstripping are disintegrating and will need to be replaced.
All my headlights and taillights lights need to be replaced as they're covered in spiderweb cracks and in general are leaking water in.

I've been busy getting elbow deep in my car this week.

So far the entire rear/trunk end of the interior has been completely disassembled and I'm busy dismantling all of the trim. Driver, passenger and rear bench seats were pulled out and I'm in the process of tearing out the carpet for cleaning and to dye it black.
