I have to recommend Donkey Kong for Game Boy. It's a fantastic platformer with a lot of great gameplay. Based off of you liking Shinobi I highly recommend Ninja Five-O for GBA as well, my favorite action title on the system.

I don't think anybody's said anything for SMS yet, but Phantasy Star is usually considered THE reason to own one. Additionally, the Alex Kidd games, Fantasy Zone games, Ys, and Wonder Boy games are worth looking at too.

Castlevania: The Adventure is pretty meh by all accounts. Although, I still kind of secretly love it, as it holds a lot of nostalgia for me. It was actually in my first handful of GB games back in the day.

Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge is better. Kind of.

Castlevania Legends is more better. More kind of.

OR were you were you referring to the GBA games? (Of which I've really only played Circle Of The Moon -- shock! Horror! Right? It is kind of strange, cuz I love Castlevania games in general, but in all honesty I prefer the linear games to the Metroid-ish games).

mm. That's a good port. I was always pissed they didn't do the full NES Trilogy the same way. Of course there's a LOT of games that I think SHOULD have been part of the NES Classic series that wasn't.

My good friend Noise, I'm going slightly off topic for second here but what did you think of Mega Man 9 & 10? I believe they're availble to download on the Wii's VC and Xbox Live arcade? I have MM 9 on the Wii VC/WiiWare but I didn't get to download MM 10 yet. Probably download that to my Xbox this time. Just curious what your thoughts were.

I love Castlevania in general so I'll be trying those out as well. I just downloaded some new Castlevania WiiWare game. Pretty goo game and I recommend it to any Castlvania lovers like myself to give a crack!
