I downloaded Bonk's Revenge and Bomberman 94 on VC when I arrived home from work tonight. Three cheers to Hudson!

PS, as of a couple hours ago, the now-ex Hudson employee had removed his "insider" blog post about the restructuring.

If I were to get a Bonk game from the VC, which one is the best?

Konami has messed up franchises in the past, easily. However, when they do, it's usually so forgettable that we gloss over it and don't care. 32-bit Contra, anyone? CastleVania 64? Didn't think so. :?

But Contra and specially Castlevania are still alive and well. It's also hard to blame them where the jump to 3D was so problematic.

I don't think they have made any "big" mistakes with the franchises I know.

Suikoden. While Tierkreis was still a great game in it's own regard (at least in my opinion) it contributed a lot to hurting the series. Completely changed the story and game mechanics of the entire series. Pissed off most of the fan base as well. Though i'm still in hopes they'll make it up with an eventual Suikoden VI.

So does this mean the idea of TG-16 games EVER getting a release on the US Playstation Network is pretty much dead in the water now?

Also, if anyone has the case art for Popful Mail (Sega CD), I'd like to speak with you!
