yeah sorry dont know what im thinking, asking price $50. Also the games that come with it are: metal slug, army men sarge's heroes, quake2, syphonfilter, madden99, megaman x4, crash bandicoot, strikers 1945
Definately worth it if it's a debugger unit. They can play copies and imports without chip. Check the serial number with the one in the wiki page. That price seems a little low... A Bargain if it's a debugger unit.
BTW the serial number for the NTSC-U version is DTL-H1201. The green unit should have the new cd lens assembly.
Please note there are quite a few replacement cases available in green colour so make sure the serial number is right as it could just have been a replacement case.
I hated the PSX, that system but me through a lot of shit just to get one game to work, I remember that I had to turn the system sideways just to get it to work. I personally liked the PSOne better.

LOL same here.
It would freeze on fmvs for me. I had to do the ending for FF8 a couple of times since it kept freezing on the ending fmvs! It finally unfreezed when I decided to turn the thing upside down. A lot of time was wasted due to this "quirk".

Overdosed on Gaming
That was due to the design flaws of the older models. The newer units didn't suffer from this. Mine used to be only playable on it's side and then it completely packed in altogether.
I have a the slim PSone, works perfect. Hate the Playstation. I can't find any games that I like on it. I would actually prefer a older Playstation so I could hook up an external modchip.
