I played Friday the 13th on NES. I guess it wasn't terrible, but I didn't consider it good either. I certainly never regretted selling it, and I rarely ever sell games.
Only game I really remember enjoying that was made by LJN was Maximum Carnage. I also might have enjoyed the off-hand WWF title... but looking back on just about every wrestling game I've ever played, I don't know how much of that had to do with me being a dumb kid.
I almost got Jupiter Strike, actually. I saw it at a pawn shop, and was excited to see a longbox PS1 game - but after seeing the disc was beyond repair, gave it a pass. Now that I know it's a bloody awful game, I guess I should consider myself lucky.

I'm just pointing out that it's become almost trendy to hate on LJN. I feel like most gamers do so without actually remember which games they made. It's just become a reflex to say "Oh yeah LJN ONLY made crap."the7k wrote:I played Friday the 13th on NES. I guess it wasn't terrible, but I didn't consider it good either. Re: Worst game EVER made
Idk, I personally liked some of the LJN titles, on the NES anyways. Friday the 13th, Nightmare on elm st, Jaws, etc they receive alot of negative responses but I personally enjoyed them. I didn't like X-Men, in fact that can go on this thread as one of my worst games played. I would really have to think about it to find more because I usually like to forget the bad games!
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!
Re: Worst game EVER made
Dark Void for the Xbox 360 (or PS3 if you swing that way...) is the worst game I've ever played. Even if Capcom paid ME for that game... it still wouldn't be worth it.
Re: Worst game EVER made
Point taken, but I was a big comic book fan (still am, just not as much a Marvel one) ... so it my world, LJN was a war criminal. X-Men and Arcade's Revenge were two of the most disappointing games I ever played. And I was a kid who didn't think twice about playing through Rise of the Robots, Justice League Task Force or Tom & Jerry.noiseredux wrote: I'm just pointing out that it's become almost trendy to hate on LJN. Anyways, how about some other games to throw up here. A lot of people mention Superman 64 - has anyone mentioned Aquaman on the Gamecube? The most recent candidate for this list would likely be the newest Leisure Suit Larry - at my lowest point, I actually considered renting this game just to get the trophies.
I just picked up X-Blades for $6.99 brand new at Toys R Us, and I honestly feel ripped off. Fortunately, it has that 'So bad, it's good' thing going for it, that actually makes me want to see the game through to the end. I wouldn't liken it to being a candidate for this list - but wow, it is one of the worst games I've played in a long while.

I only remember Aquaman for the award it got in Nintendo Power for "Best Mullet".the7k wrote: Anyways, how about some other games to throw up here.
