i actually thought Neo Contra kicked ass all over the map, and couldn't get into Shattered Soldier - and this is coming from a Contra Hard Corps fanatic
To me it looks like any other generic run n gun, and not very Contra-esque aside from some recurrent art/enemies from the series. Gameplay looks meh. Why is the hero wearing a cape and mask?!
my interest in this game just plummeted. Maybe I'll pick it up in $5 sale if I am desperate for some fresh Contra...but there are enough solid entries in the series to go back to that there's really no need for me to get what appears to be a lackluster game.
