I think i'm finally ready to invest in a fight stick for my PS2 (I know, I know, I am a bit late to the party but the Together Retro for KOF 98 and impending MVC3 has got me juiced for fighters again)
Since the bulk of my fighters are on PS2 that's where i want to start.
Id like to spend less than an hundred if possible, but im flexible.
Bradtemple87 has already suggested to me the Street Fighter 15th anniversary stick, which looks pretty cool.
What other kinds of sticks do you guys recommend?
Suggest Me a PS2 Fightstick
Re: Suggest Me a PS2 Fightstick
I'm very happy with my Hori Tekken 5 one. It could use a bit more tension, but whatever. Since it's a PS2 controller, I can use it on most of my systems with adapters. It even works on my Xbox 360 with the Deal Extreme adapter.
Just took a look on ebay. There's some there for $60-$100. I got mine for $30 at a pawn shop.
While I was looking there, this one looks real nice for $32.

I'd say a Hori Real Arcade Pro is the way to go if you can swing it.

LOL! I just realized what the HRAP I'm always reading about on the Shoryuken and Shmups.system11 forums is.

I'd recommend the HRAP. A lot of people like the Namco stick as well, though I personally never cared for it because it's too light for my tastes.
General availability of quality PS2 sticks isn't too great though, your best bet might be to get someone to make you a custom one, or build it yourself if you're up to it.

Yeah I bought the Tekken 5 LE w/ Arcade Stick for $25 (not a Tekken fan though... just a cheap stick to me.) I'd recommend that if you can find it cheap. I'm a D-pad fighter myself.
