It's not like another re-release of FFIV is a big deal, but I'm actually really excited about this PSP release since it will also include The After Years!!

because that's what Square does. You know that.AppleQueso wrote:another re-release of an old FF game?

Yes it is, but this is good news for those of us who prefer a physical release rather than a download that's tied to a single console. I'll be picking this game up SOLELY based on the fact that it means After Years is finally getting a physical release.isn't After Years available on wii ware anyhow?
@Capcom: I'd do the same if you released Mega Man 9 and 10 this way as well!

I am super excited for this. I can always play through FF4 again. Probably beaten it about 10 times since it first came out.

I'm more bothered by the fact that there isn't a PSP version of Final Fantasy III
STOP SKIPPING GAMES DAMMIT. I'M STILL EXTREMELY BOTHERED BY THE FACT THAT FF3 IS THE ONLY GAME THAT WASN'T RE-RELEASED ON THE PS1.

Re: FFIV: Complete Collection coming to PSP in April!
same here. It bugs me that you can get I, II, IV, V and VI on PS1 and GBA -- but no III. Though if IV Complete sells well enough, perhaps a re-release of III on the PSP would follow? Remember the PSP got versions of I and II already.AppleQueso wrote:I'm more bothered by the fact that there isn't a PSP version of Final Fantasy III

Re: FFIV: Complete Collection coming to PSP in April!
I'm not sure I wanna get this. I picked up both IV GBA and DS because GBA had a messed up battle speed and DS made a ton of changes, but then I found they got the balance wrong in the other direction. And I already have After Years on my Wii. If I got this it'd probably languish until one day when I get bored and decide to do a massive playthrough.

Re: FFIV: Complete Collection coming to PSP in April!
After Years together is interesting since I don't have it on Wiiware, but all of the remakes are kinda getting annoying. I'd like to see a compilation of I-VI, like what Capcom did with Mega Man.

Hey, Square-Enix is further diluting the Final Fantasy brand. Good for them!
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Might as well do the remake of FF VII if they are doing this from here on, ugh...Flake wrote:Hey, Square-Enix is further diluting the Final Fantasy brand. Good for them!
