This is one of my favorite commentaries on video games ever, and a big part of me hopes that one day this video will be shown in History of Media courses. I've linked to it in other threads, and it's great to see that other people are familiar with it.msimplay wrote:Hmm just saw this youtube vid and I think it's relevant to the topic and maybe what the original post of the thread was trying to say except more clear.

I only seen it for the first time yesterday and I thought that this is what the author of this thread meant but I got a bit confused reading the 1st post.Original_Name wrote:This is one of my favorite commentaries on video games ever, and a big part of me hopes that one day this video will be shown in History of Media courses. While my personal opinion still remains I look at games as entertainment value I don't see any harm in exploring the medium I mean games have something other mediums don't.
The fact that it is literally an interactive medium everything else you look at from the outside.
While some things I am personally may feel uncomfortable with through my own ethical stance it shouldn't stop anyone else making a game to explore even controversial subjects however should be done tastefully as other mediums such as books and movies have already.
