sega cd models 1 and 2 will they both work with a genesis model 1?

Yes, but theres a small plastic piece that comes with the model 2 Sega CD to go under the longer model 1 Genesis.

The plastic piece isn't NEEDED if I remember correctly... It just keeps the Model 1 Genesis from hanging over the edge and looking silly.

Oh, for sure, I suppose you could use a book or just get used to it being a little wobbly. But no the piece isn't required in order for the machine to run.
