I thought we'd do a separate thread just about the Move - one in which we don't discuss its superiority/inferiority to the Wiimote or Kinect...
Anyway, I suddenly find myself with three Move-enabled games (Heavy Rain, LBP2, and Dead Space Extraction) and will soon find myself with a fourth (Killzone 3) and maybe a fifth (the new Tiger Woods with The Masters course). I generally don't like waggle on the Wii, but I do like lightgun games and I do like how the Wii controls felt in Metroid Prime 3. Has anyone played Move on those sort of games which also work perfectly fine without it? Is the experience better? Worse? The same? Is Move worth shelling out some money for?

Bit curious as well, especially since I love how retro sci-fi the zapper attachment for the Move looks.

Re: Dedicated Discussion thread for Playstation Move games
I have the move and to be honest I used it maybe 10 hours total and it hit my junk drawer, it's the drawyer that I keep gaming stuff that I don't use very often. For some reason it just does not stay configured very well the tracking with the ps eye just doesn't work as good as Nintendo's wiimote.
I also have the precision shot 3 for the move

Now as far as games go I will say I have a few that work with the move
Planet Minigolf, works very good with the move and has it's moments of fun and frustrations aswell.
My Favorite game to play on the ps3 would have to be MAG which also can be used with the move (and is one of the reasons I bought the precision shot 3)
Now I will say MAG gets no love from ps3 users but it's because it's not COD, but it's way harder since it relies on your team using teamwork and shines when you are in a good clan.
Me playing MAG
The 3rd game I have for the move is Time Crisis:Razing Storm which is worth it just for the extra games included with TCRS. Which are Time Crisis 4 & Deadstorm Pirates when I played those games it just made the disc worth it for me since I love lightgun games!
Deadstorm Pirates
Last on my move game list is the Hidden Gem of move games and most likely the least sold game. Now Before you say this game suxorz stop right there!
This game is fun the most fun you will have with the move and if you are a Sega Dreamcast fan you will love this game it will take you back to the dreamcast not only with graphics but also in gameplay!!! It also has it's frustrating moments but that could just be the issues I have with the move getting out of wack after waving it around for a few mins.
Lets look at the trailer because I have no video of this on my youtube channel

I'm kind of curious about the Move too. Like DSH said, I generally don't like motion controls -- but I love lightgun games. So wondering if this thing would be worth looking into.

Re: Dedicated Discussion thread for Playstation Move games
Ive had the move controller since launch.Granted i dont use it as much as i should,But my room layout makes it awkward.
Ive used it on loads of games as its always good to see how it works out.
The game i use it for most are MAG(using move actually gives you a HUGE advantage as you get no recoil and a little aim assist),Deadstorm pirates is also a good game to have a quickfire blast on.Now with HOTD Overkill extended version is coming to move i can see pirates dissapearing.
Move also improves Eyepet for lil un as the provided card is so hit and miss,This makes it easier for him to get things going.
Killzone 3 was alright with it as was socom,But being i use just the move controller and a dualshock it gets tiring using it all the time.
Tumble is a good game that really shows off how accurate the move controller can be.Flight control HD is also a good fun game.
All in all i am always more inclined to check out games with move support.Move works well in general and im happy with it.I just wish i could get a gun attachment or navi controller. It works well in pitch black rooms aswel. And ive not had an issiue in bright sunlight either.

Re: Dedicated Discussion thread for Playstation Move games
I certainly believe the Move has potential; I am just not sure for what. Tumble has been the move impressive game I have seen so far, acting more as a tech demo for the controller's sensitivity than an actual game. I think the best thing that can happen with the Move is to use the controller in a game with high levels of immersion, and encouraging you to use it in a natural way. I have not played Heavy Rain, but this seems to fit the bill. Can anyone vouch for the effectiveness of the Move-compatible update for the game?
One game that I thought would be excellent with the Move was PAIN, but that ended up falling horribly short. I thought that implementation would be as simple as super-accurate slingshot control, which would have worked perfectly well, but instead they had to force in a new Move-only mode where you can only throw your person, not shoot them from the slingshot. Throwing feels horribly disconnected and unnatural, and you can never get nearly as much distance as you can with a Dualshock.
