Absolutely, I remember that got under my skin as well.wip3outguy7 wrote:I just wish The Red Star would allow you to switch direction controls from analog stick to dpad so that I could use my arcade stick. I would play it more if this were the case.

Holy crap it just occurred to me that one of my sticks will let me set it to be the d pad or either analog.wip3outguy7 wrote:I just wish The Red Star would allow you to switch direction controls from analog stick to dpad so that I could use my arcade stick. What a rare find!!!
I was skimming through a game store several days ago, and ran into a used copy of Super Metroid (Greatest Hits). Normally, that's not a big deal, except for the fact it has the front label on upside down! Nintendo quality care let this one slip right by, and now it's mine! I have never seen this before, and I have been an SNES collector for about 15 years now. Does anyone out there have any idea what a factory mislabeled Super Metroid might be worth?

lucky bastard. if you wanna get rid of that crusader, just let me know.Opa Opa wrote:Went to Goodwill and found the Saturn games Crusader: No Remorse and Three Dirty Dwarves for $6. Both complete.
edit: and while I was there I was tempted to buy a wood grain magnavox television set. I think I'll pass for today. Although it would go nice with an atari 2600.

Got a Sega CD with a Genesis and some games, for only 36.00 including shipping. It was as-is, but if the SCD is broken, I'll just fix it. Even if it turns out to be broken, it will still be worth it for the other stuff.

I got a loose copy of Earthbound for 98 dollars.
Yeah, not exactly a bargain, but I want that game.

I had a little more time today so I went back to Goodwill again. Picked up the Saturn games Fifa 97 and WWF: In Your House. Both complete and cost me another $6 total. I was just going to get Fifa but then I saw WWF and I thought another game would make my saturn collection look a little bit bigger.
