Games NOT beaten: 2011

For me, Final Fantasy IX. I got to the end of disc 2 out of 4. I didn't complete it for 2 reasons: Not enough time to sit down and enjoy a 4 disc game, and It got quite hard on the tree boss on the second disc. I am planning to start fresh from the beginning and just play for an entire weekend.

I had attempted to play through Maximo a couple of years ago on the PS2 but had quit, and today I suddenly found myself wondering why I hadn't bothered to finish. So I booted it up, loaded my save, and rediscovered how much I absolutely hated the combat in that game.

Looks like it'll be another year before I retry that one.

An update on the list of games I have started but not finished this year. Getting a bit longer... XD

I meant to update this monthly, but forgot, so here's my current list of games not beaten.


Games off of the list : Metal Slug 2nd Mission (NGPC), Probotector (GB), Super Mario Bros 3 (Wii), Golden Sun Dark Dawn (DS).

Games onto the list: Pokemon White (DS), Sonic Adventure (DC), Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa (VC), Kirby's Dreamland 3 (VC), Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble (GBC).

Pokemon White I'm working through pretty consistently, it'll be beat by the next update for sure. Sonic Adventure have a long way to go, and what with uni work and pokemon, progress is slow. I started Bio Miracle to tide me over til Pokemon came out, only I didn't finish it on time. I'll have to get back to it soon. Kirby's Dreamland 3 I'm playing in co-op with my girlfriend, but we don't have a whole lot of opportunities to play. We're pretty close to finishing though, so it should be done by the April update too. Lastly, Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble is proving to be really really hard and it kinda discouraged me from playing. I'll get back to it eventually.

that's actually the easiest boss in the entire game if you know the trick.

that's actually the easiest boss in the entire game if you know the trick.

Actually gave up on this game at the middle or end of last year at the part on disc 3 where you divide your party into two groups of four members. Gave up cause I have to train about ten levels.

Final Fantasy XIII, I am struggling to finish this overtly boring and repetitive pile of crap. I get the feeling I will most likely completely bail on it in the future, only the idea of XIII-2 being halfway decent keeps me playing.

Stupid insanely hard boss battles that come out of nowhere.

Also pretty close on giving up on Assassins Creed Brotherhood, not because its not a good game, I am just burnt out after II, it is essentially hours and hours of more II.

Decent progress for this months update - 3 games off and only one new game on. Pulseman I keep dying on, and I don't really like the game. Lords of Thunder is proving too hard atm, Kirby aswell (surprisingly). Sonic Adventure keeps crashing .


Billy Hatcher is only a very temporary addition - I'm very near the end actually. Hopefully I'll have it beaten soon.
