Questions about importing video game systems.

Hey guys, I've searched the forum and couldn't find an exact answer, but I was wondering if there are some specifics to know before purchasing a Japanese system.

I'm DYING to play that new Do-Don-Pachi game, and as we all know, it's region locked. I'm actually willing to buy a Japanese 360 slim (I live in America), but I was wondering if I need a transformer to plug it into the wall, or if our default 120V fine?

Also, what about things like Xbox Live? Will the Xbox connect to the Japanese live?

Concerning the hard drive and other Xbox accessories, can I just use the ones I can buy from Gamestop?

Is there anything else I need to know concerning importing systems?

Japanese systems will work fine in the US without any power conversion.

It should be fine - I don't need a transformer for mine here in the UK, just a plug socket converter.

No, it'll connect to whichever region the account is set to - if you want to use the Japanese store you'll need to make a Japanese account.

Yep, any accessory will work with any 360, regardless of region.
