Well, it looks like I finally own a CDX: Need a little help

Post by Scooter »

I recently scored a nice boxed CDX. It is complete with all the packing, power source, cords, control pad and packed in games. However, it is missing the CDX instructions. Is there someone out there with a CDX instruction manual/sheet that would sell me the instruction manual or make me a good set of photocopies or scans of the manual? I don't so much need it for the "how to hook it up" information, I'm sure that won't be tough, I just want to have my set up be basically complete.

I now have a Genesis, 32X, Sega CD, Nomad and CDX to round out my Genesis era hardware collection. Unfortunately I didn't get this item cheap, but it does look to be in excellent shape and came along with a small collection of games, none of which I already had.

I could also use a copy of the 32X game Brutal instructions or photocopies/scans thereof.

Thanks in advance for any help locating the manuals I need.

Now you need a LaserActive console. And there're a few more obscure Sega bits from that era, too.

I just don't need another overpriced collectible dust collector! :D

I sure could use some scans of the CDX instruction manual though. Hopefully someone here has a copy of the manual and can help me out. I found bupkis doing an internet search. I've talked to a number of guys doing manual scans website projects but apparently none are online yet.

There was also the powerbase converter adapter for the genesis to allow it to play Master System games.
Atari 2600 (AV mod), NES, SNES (region switch for PAL), Virtual Boy, Gamecube, Wii (D2CKey), PSX (Stealth V), PS2 (independence exploit w/ 160 GB HDD), Goldstar 3DO, Philips CD-i, Dreamcast, Saturn (racketboy's chip), Sega Genesis 2 + CD2 + 32X + Power Base Converter, Game Gear.

Yeah, got one of those too, boxed with instructions. I have a boxed pair of the SMS 3D glasses too. I just need the CDX system manual.

Sorry, unless you have a LaserActive with Sega Genesis module you just don't have everything. That one's essential.

Yeah, uh-huh, okay, I'll start collecting those other bits of obscure hardware as soon as I locate a manual for my CDX, but until then can anyone help me locate a manual or a scan of the manual?

Please and thank you.
