Emulation on Xbox, a Guide?

Post by Raz1r »

Maybe we should make a guide?

Instead of teaching noobs how to mod their Xbox, we could throw a link to Xbox-scene.com and just focus on the best emulators and the pros and cons of xbox emulation.

I could help a bit, I've been running an XBMC box for awhile. So how about it?

I'd help. My Xbox has supplanted my PC for nearly all my emulation needs. XBMC greatly improves my quality of life.

I emulate everything on my Xbox except for snes. Haven't been able to find a decent emu for it yet, but admittedly I haven't looked all that hard and Zsnes does such a great job on my PC that I haven't felt any great need to look. But maybe I should start using the Xbox for it now.

If anyone has any suggestions or links ,they would be greatly appreciated. Saves me allot of mucking about.

Ps: I hate the word noobs.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

which model EEE did you get? I am waiting for one of the 8.9" models myself.

I've got full sets of Gen, GBA, NES, and SNES on my Xbox, along with a few choice PSX and N64 games. Works great.

XBox Scene was a great resource for me when I softmodded my XBox for the first time almost a month ago. This page, a comprehensive and up-to-date listing of the cream of the crop, pretty much sums it up:

Droid party, try Zsnexbox, as the above page suggests. Top-notch fullspeed, fullsound, emulation quality and a ridiculous amount of options.
