Having to let the Subaru Brat go = [

Post by Hobie-wan »

Ok, so now I have my Saabaru and the Neon is gone, I have to sell off my Brat. If anyone is interested in or knows someone that wants a Brat to play with, here's the Houston Craigslist ad for it. It is not currently running but is in good shape and I have extra bits for it.

Grammar is way too good for craigslist. If you want to sell it, change description to:

will trad for large bags of dog food or a good 1960 or 1970 pickup that i cn use as a daily driver

I know, I'm also screwing myself by hosting lots of clean pictures instead of normal tiny CL hosted ones taken with a 110 camera that's been rolling around in the trunk of a 1972 Cadillac El Dorado with 2 dead hookers that liquified last August in the summer heat.

Aw, that's a shame. That was a unique ride. You didn't have it for too long either, huh? Did it take a while to find it in the first place?

I like the orange/red font of the instrument panel set against the black. That looks pretty good for an old truck. Did it light up in orange/red as well at night?

Also, it is interesting how the lights and wiper controls seem to be embedded in the dashboard rather than on the steering column.

Thank you for bringing this up! That finally explains where the hell my hookers went and why there was bunch of tapioca in my trunk.

While looking for a vehicle I was searching for Brats for grins every now and then and this one just turned up locally. The only other I had seen months before was one that was really beat to crap and had been rotting in the weeds for years.

Yup. The 80s Nissan vehicles my family owned were also orange on black. The factory radio in the Stanza Wagon we had also had an orange display to match which I thought was really cool.

Yeah, those black knobs stick out with lights on the left and wipers on the right. There's only 1 stalk for turn signal.

I totally forgot to mention this is manual transmission as well for those of us that like to row our own.
