Boy, that game is not beat until every cup and every mission has three stars.

I'm probably the only person that's ever done that.

It's a lot easier if you keep a running tab and total like many of us do, and only post once you have a new set of 2, 3, or 4 games beat. Posting every time you beat one game seems a bit much, and could make it harder to keep up with your tally.

Total: 22

I posted some of these already, but didn't post my thoughts about them until now.

The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai was a BLAST! I found it to be really difficult at first, but after playing it for awhile and getting a hang of how to block and perform combos efficiently, the game became a lot more playable. I played through on easy, which was honestly very hard. Now that I have the hang of it, I will probably play through again on normal some time before the sequel, The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile, comes out.

Explosionade is a really fun challenge room-style game from Mommy's Best Games, the makers of Shoot 1Up and the upcoming Grapple Buggy. The story is pretty funny and the gameplay is addictive. It's one of those games that is really hard to put down once you start playing.

I played through Captain Commando on Capcom Classics Remixed on the PSP. It's really your standard beat 'em up, but the quirky characters make it a must play IMO. For the record, I played through as the baby who drives the mech! :)

Three Wonders: Midnight Wanderers - Quest for the Chariot is one of my favorite memories as a child, as I remember playing it with my grandma on a cabinet at a carnival. I played through it in 2009 on MAME, and did it again on the PSP recently. It has really nice graphics, and gets pretty challenging towards the end. Great run 'n gun title.

Three Wonders: Chariot: Adventure through the Sky is something of a companion title to Midnight Wanderers. It's a shmup with the same characters, and is equally entertaining.

1941: Counter Attack was an excellent shmup. It really picked up in difficulty near the end of the game, but it was pretty forgiving for an arcade shmup overall.

The arcade version of Bionic Commando has really charming graphics IMO, but the gameplay isn't really anywhere near as good as its NES counterpart. It's also surprisingly short, with only four levels in total.

Strider is an effing beast of a game. Even with unlimited credits, it was a challenge to get through it. The robot dinosaur was one of the most frustrating bosses that I've ever faced off against, and that's saying a lot! The graphics and gameplay are awesome, but the stiff controls make it hard to do what you want at times.

Axel and Pixel is a really charming adventure title in the same vein as Monkey Island. The graphics are really something special, and the gibberish that the main character spouts is pretty funny stuff. The vehicle levels were a nice break from the puzzle solving, and helped to keep it from feeling monotonous.

What Did I Do To Deserve This, My Lord!? aka Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman, What Did I Do To Deserve This? is a GREAT strategy game with and old school RPG aesthetic. You have to help an evil overlord known as Badman create and populate a dungeon in order to fend off the heroes who wish to see his demise. The challenge level in this game is off the charts, and it takes a lot of patience to learn exactly how to make any sort of progress through the game's eight levels. I made it to the second to last level on multiple occasions, and the last level once, before I finally beat it. Once I got a good understanding of how to create more powerful monsters and manage my time more efficiently, the game became a lot more fun to play. Looking forward to trying the next two title in the series!

That game was hell for me......until I got the chainsaw!!!

Mwuhahahahah!!!

Also, the Y,X,Y ground combo with the sword I believe was enough to destroy most enemies and I learned that using the walls made some bosses a LOT easier to kill. Great game that I wish more people would play. It makes me sad to see a lesser game like Scott Pilgrim get the attention that Dishwasher Samurai deserves. It's probably the second best digital download beat'em up after Castle Crashers

Shoutouts to the Mirror Mode Banana Cup, which took me forever to get three stars on for some reason, and Mission 7-6, where there are eight gates in a very tight circle in the order 1-6-2-7-3-8-4-9-5-6. You have 11 fucking seconds. To get all three stars, you have 10 seconds. Good fucking luck. Man, I had to have done that damn level a hundred times.

1. Mercs (PS2)
2. Darkstalkers 3 (PS1)
3. House Of The Dead Overkill (Wii)
4. Mega Man 3 (PS2)
5. Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters (PS2)
6. Halo 2600 (Atari 2600)
7. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game (NES)

Beat TMNT II co-op with my wife. We used the extra lives code, which I'd normally consider cheating, but honestly -- I don't know how anyone could beat this game without it. I remember playing this in the arcade before it was released on NES. And I guarantee you I used a lot of quarters. Anyway, it is a fantastically fun game. I can't imagine beating it without some help though.

B+A at the same time, one hit kill on all foot soldiers. I have finished the game without dying multiple times using that move, both solo and with a friend. It breaks the game

1. Drakengard (ps2)
2. Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (DS) - new

Total: 2

An excellent Castlevania game, my only grip is that the game held your hand in order to get the good ending, unlike aria of sorrow where you had to figure it out.
