What's your Hidden Gems of the PSP? (so far ...)
I know it's a bit early for a hidden gems of the PSP article but as things stand, what do you think is unappreciated on the PSP? Or got any tips for good JPN import games?
Jeanne d'Arc, for sure. All my customers ignore it to buy Disgaea or FF Tactics, though I (and most of my coworkers) are consistently promoting it. Great SRPG.
Also underappreciated on any platform is the Ys games, though specifically Ys Ark of Napishtim on the PSP, despite it's rather bad slowdown (unless you "overclock" the PSP).

These games are why I want to buy a PSP. Also I would still recomend FF Tactics and Disgaea, because I know severel people who've played through both and really liked them. And the new-ish Castlevania Chronicles which has Castlevania SOTN and Rondo of Blood. Great games on the PS1 and Saturn, and I've heard they are decent versions.fluffy wrote:Jeanne d'Arc, for sure. I don't think that that particular version is available in Australia or if it is then its hard to find. I'd really like that actually.ImportBoy wrote:Talkman is fun - I have the English/Japanese/Chinese/Korean version.
Anyways, as said the Ys and Jean Darc are great games. Breath of Fire III and Tales of Eternia are only available in PAL regions and are both worth an import. Tales of Eternia especially.
Yeah theres a heap of great PSP titles that I could list but its been so long since I've paid attention to these sorts of titles on the PSP's. I use to be fanatic about them. I'll do some digging around and see what I can remeber.
