Retronauts on the Sega Saturn

Post by RadarScope1 »

We were discussing Retronauts on another thread, and the newest episode is all about the Saturn. Really good discussion here.

My brother downloads Retronauts and we listeneded to this one together. I think that they draw some interesting conclusions about the Saturn and how its not for everyone but rather a console where you can just go and discover unique and interesting games.

Finally got around to listening to it (I have a lot of podcasts on regular rotation)
I really enjoyed it. I didn't really learn anything new, but its always fun to hear intelligent people talk about something you are passionate about.
It's funny how they mentioned some games that they joked around that nobody would know about before somebody corrected them that hardcore Saturn fans would definitely know about it (which I did). I cracked a bit smile then.

People ask me all the time to do a podcast. I see no need to when Retronauts does such a great job.

Retronauts really are something else. These guys know so much about games.

I don't listen to very many podcasts actually. I usually leave that up to my brother whom gets all of the podcasts and internet shows. Although I think that I should go back and listen to all of the older retronauts podcasts as its a great way to build up knowledge quickly.

The Saturn is the Sega console which I know the least about. So I found this very helpful. I've never really considered ever getting a Saturn but by the end of this podcast I'm having second thoughts. Might be something to look into once I have gotten through some other games.

Me too. The Saturn is great. It can be kinda hard to get a hold of the really good games, though.
