I finally signed up on RacketBoy, great site btw. Speaking of sites, you might have seen my work before. I run RVGFANATIC.com which focuses heavily on all things Super Nintendo, but I also review some Sega Saturn and 8-bit Nintendo games here and there. If you haven't checked out my site yet, feel free to and I'd love to hear your feedback. My site specializes in obscure Super Famicom(-only) games... of which my latest write-ups include the bizarre Deae Tonosama Appare Ichiban and the BEST wrestling game on the SNES: Zen Nippon Pro Wrestling Budokan. Some of my obscure SFC work has actually been featured here on RacketBoy in the past (of which I greatly appreciate).
My latest update also includes my SNES story (the article entitled "January 17, 2006") which if you read will give you my history with the system and why it's my all-time favorite. My latest SNES review was on a fan-translated copy of Clock Tower, which is a great and scary game you don't want to miss out on.
For those who may be new to RVG, my site and reviews are quite different from your normal gaming site. Most of my material feature a crapload of pictures. I take a rather light-hearted (yet serious enough) approach to my reviews. My work can be at times quite unprofessional and unorthodox, but it's just how I like to run things. Expect lots of rambling, reminiscing and more pictures than necessary. Over the years a handful of folks have shared with me that my site reminds them of the good old days of EGM/GameFan, and evokes fond memories of that magical late '80s to mid '90s era that has long passed us by. My main goal is to just, as it says on my front page banner, to commemorate my favorite system of all time, the SNES. In addition, I also have a random Miscellaneous section with different life stories, recaps of classic shows such as Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Home Improvement, The Wonder Years and so much more.
