Got an alternative for the overclock that was detailed on the umass.edu link?

http://www.lemonsinseries.com/?p=4 this should cut it for the overclock. I recommend an oscillator as using the cart slot pin has caused me some headaches :(

also, the voltage regulator detailed there is where I grab 5v from for the simplified s-vid mod.

good call on the wget archival. I've printed out hard copies of a lot of the mod references I use, just in case. you never know...
