Did Brawl cause a sudden demand for Pikmin?

Look at this:

Look at the sudden increase in price after November, and it keeps getting higher. I think November was when Olimar was announced as a playable in Brawl. Coincidence?

Yeah, I think it's definately related. But I think it has picked up more on ebay closer to the release date of brawl. I picked up Pikmin last month for 10 bucks, and now I see it for 18-20, and even more for Pikmin 2. I don't mind....

Wow -- I guess I won't be picking up Pikmin 2 any time soon.
The original used to be under the $10 mark for the longest time.
I probably paid $7 or $8 for my copy.

It sucks because I used to own both Pikmins and I really want to buy them back, but now I'm not sure. At least Twilight Princess is coming down, so I may buy that soon.

Twilight Princess is awesome. As long as you know going in that the packaging -- the story, the overworld, the structure -- really isn't much changed from before, then you won't be disappointed. The actual game part of the game is sweet. I dropped 65 hours into that one.

It seems inferior to WW in all ways, but I'll try it when the price is right.
