1. Xbox 360: It is just the most comfortable controller I've ever held. It just doesn't get uncomfortable and crampy after long hours of usage, like PS2's controller does. And I've always loved triggers in place of just larger versions of the top shoulder buttons. The only flaw is a sub-par d-pad, which, unfortunately, isn't really very useful in games anymore.

2. SNES: The ultimate controller for 2D games. The d-pad is the best I've ever used, never had any problems with it. And, unlike the Sega Genesis controller, it doesn't have a shortage of buttons.

3. Xbox (Controller S, of course): It has plenty of buttons, awesome triggers, and I like the hefty feel to it. And the X in the middle of the controller is a great decoration. Only problem is the bad d-pad, and that the black and white buttons aren't always convenient to use.

I agree with you about the Xbox controller; I would have it as number #4 on my list, but I am one of the few that actually likes the original Xbox controller as much as the redesigned one. They both have good uses, and I like them equally.

1. Playstation Dual Shock 2 - Mainly because it would make a good universal controller, the main reason I pick this over the Sixases and Dual Shock 3 is because I kinda like a little weight on my controller.

2. Genesis Controller - Because you can use in almost every system other than Sega systems (2600, C64, [w/ modification] Vectrex)

3. NES Controller - This one just has nostalgia value to me, its simple, and I like the d-pad.

1. The Japanese Sega Saturn controller-the absolute best 2d fighting game controller ever!
2. The NeoGeo cd controller-I just love the thumbstick hybrid on it.
3. The Xbox 360 controller-it just feels good in your hand and best for modern 3d gaming.

1) Pop'n'music controller. The game is not half as fun with any other kind of controller

2) Beatmania IIDX controller. I have two so it's not that I can complain!

3) Pump it up pads. The best dance pads around by far, never miss, don't need to stomp. They are far, far better than DDR's.

Honorable mention: Mouse
