Gotta create a man cave. That is alot of big cool stuff but I can see how that goes over the top. Make the rest of the house normal if you like.

I still display my stuff because I don't care what other people think! I'm 30 years old, have a sweet career and play music. If I like video games and robots who are they to judge? That said I don't have any retail stand ups, which would not get approved by the woman.

You could sell 'em to meeee

My room has quite a lot, including some retail stand ups, but I can get away with it because I'm not living on my own or with a partner yet. Most of the stuff I do have is in the loft though as I don't like the room to look too cluttered as it's not a very big room.

Most of what I have out at the moment:

Very cool stuff.

I've been meaning to snag those Sonic and Knuckles pillows I see around.

Nothing says "Game Loser" more than those pillows! (And yes, I'm putting myself down).

My actual office, where my gaming takes place is mostly full of boardgames and miniature wargame figurines. Though there is a big R2D2 in the corner - one of those pepsi drink coolers from 7-11's (I may peace that it is pepsi in that it is R2 - I am from Atlanta...) Apart from some videogame bobbleheads, well and Dwight and the Michelin man, the only other gaming thing is a Dragon Quest Slime Controller.

Anime related are two images friends have drawn for me of Totoro. One pastel that is frigging huge - 22x30, the other is lobby card sized.

Odd shaped room with little wallspace leads to next to nothing out. If I could put out my Soul Calibur 2 wall scroll, in its seven feet glory, I would.

The man cave is under construction. Saved alot of money by doing most of the labor myself, but the SEVERE downside to that is that it's taken far too long to complete. Professionals could have probably had it done in 3 weeks.

As far as the standups go, I'll probably cycle them on display, one at a time. They were procured at my local Babbages during the Dreamcast era- I'd just put my name and number on a post-it note on the back, and they'd call me when they were done with them. Then one day, they completely changed their attitude. They claimed they couldn't do it anymore because "people were selling them on eBay"... So?? How does that affect their bottom line? All it did was turn me off of their store...oh wait, that would have happened anyway...

I'm becoming quite the grumpy old man.

I might have to try that name and number on the back of the standups to see what I can get. There was a bitching ninja gaiden one at a local game store I go to, and I'd keep asking them about it, but they kept it up for a long time and i eventually forgot about it, shame.

I have some Fullmetal Alchemist figures, most of the original Stargate movie toys, and some Kinder Surprise toys. I want more but dont really have the chance to look for them (apart from online and we all know how that can be). Gagaman where did you get your Asterix and Obelix toys?

Top shelf of book case that has all the games. I need a real camera, all I have is a Handycam that takes still shots like above. I worked at Babbages/Software that I hooked up with some goodies along with KayBee that I would nab any closeout figure that was game/mech/cool related. And of course game boxes...that damn Rock Band box is tooOOO big!

Like most "man cave" folks, (the former) second bedroom has been converted and all walls have posters, banners or flyers adorned on them. E3 was really good for that. All game related (I keep the anime junk downstairs).

When I start building the house which will probally be in the next year or 2 im going to add a game room, It will probally have orinental decor, same with the living room, the only game figures i have are EQ girl, and Zelda, Link, Ganon, and shiek with horses. I plan to get more. O yeah I also have a stuffed DK that I won while down here in louisiana from a claw machine.
