How can that work? Jason was in space in the last one. :P
um yeah, but Jason X took place like 1000 years in the future though... chronologically it was Jason Goes To Hell and then Freddy Vs Jason, even though Jason X was between the two film-wise.

So a sequel would have to take place around that time, right?

no it would be a sequel to Freddy Vs Jason technically, which ends with him returning to Crystal Lake.

Oh, well I guess it'll be harder than I thought to make fun of the Jason story. :P

when you're up against somebody who's spent as much time as I have rationalizing it... yes. It'll be hard.

Maybe you can tell me how Friday the 13th Part V transitions into part VI? I haven't seen the movies myself, but I watched The Cinema Snob's review of V and he says that the ending was pretty much forgotten about in VI.

Also, has anyone seen Species? I just got it from BlockBuster.

there really is no transition. VI kind of ignore V altogether since [spoilers]Jason wasn't in V[/spoilers]. So it just jumps from IV to VI.

Yeah. V is kind of like the Friday the 13th's unspoken of stepchild. Because of the reason noise notes a lot of people shrug it off.

I have seen Species. It's a nice little alien horror movie. The sequel's not bad either. Of course, I saw the second one before I saw the first one (sacrilege, I know), so I may just be partial. I will say that the sequel's graphics are much improved over the first though. That's not so say they're bad. Just a bit dated, in my opinion.

I raided the horror section of FYE yesterday  and picked up 8 movies. Most of which have already been mentioned but did pick up "Let the Right One In", the original version of the recent release of "Let Me In". I didn't go to see it in the theaters, but I've heard nothing but good things about the original so that was a nice find. My mom also picked me up set 8 of Mystery Science Theater 3000. The only "horror" movie on it is The Killer Shrews, but I'm really looking forward to popping that into the DVD player when I have the time. I used to love watching them make fun of bad horror when it still played on the SciFi channel. I could use a good laugh.

species is pretty good. I have nothing else to say really.

Let The Right One In is amazing. And I see no point in a remake.

I held a Troll 2 party this weekend. It was amazing! Anyone else ever been blessed by this amazing movie? It is literally the lowest rated movie on Rotten Tomatoes ever. If you have not seen this movie please check it out or look it up.

It features amazing acting like this
