Help with my new (To me) N64

Post by fuctfuct »

I just got an N64 with Zelda OOT. I don't remember the graphics being so crappy. Sure its old school 3D so it going to look blocky. But i don't remember it being so grainy, blurry and just generally shitty. Its hard to explain and i tried to take pics or a movie but it didn't good enough to show.

Can anyone comment on what it looks like if they have a N64 and that game? Or have pics that they think shows the true video output of the N64?

These pics look a little crappy but i cant tell if its just from the camera used http://www.gamespot.com/n64/adventure/l ... abs;images

blurry in general or on surfaces of 3d shit? N64 had really bad textures so most 3d stuff was grainy looking

IMO, the sprites on the N64 are blurrier than the polygons.

I'm not 100% sure, but i think that the Gamecube version's graphics were improved from the N64 version.

I've never actually played the original. :(

as good as the n64 was..some games for it have aged badly graphically. Gameplay wise zelda oot is still very good.

Looks better.. Little less pixely and brighter. Doesn't look like the graphics have been upgraded though :(
