God, I hate Anne Hathaway. She's a joke. Her acting in Tim Burton's Alice, was horrible , the girl from the 60s series Get Smart, played the role muuuuuuuuuuch better than she did in the movie (though Steve Carrel was hilarious) and well I don't think I've seen a more bland performance than hers in The devil wears prada.

But I have to say, she's got an amazing agent, if she keeps finding work.

On the subject of catwoman, I always though she was an excellent villain for Batman, but she wasn't properly portrayed in both movies she has been in.

I don't know if Bane was a better developed character in the comics, than he was in Batman and Robin, or the Batman 90s cartoon, but I have faith in Nolan, and Tom Hardy is a good enough actor.

I think that's more bad directing on Burton's part than bad acting. I mean, any competent director would've said "Anne, put your fucking hands down." Also, everyone else (not including the voice acting) was pretty bad. You could barely hear what Alice was saying.

Um, I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one. I loved Alice the Mad Hatter and most of all, Burton's wife as the queen. Don't know what you are talking about Alice's voice though.

She never projected. She always talked really low.

Hm, I did not notice something like that. Oh well, I'll probably rewatch it at some point, I'll let you know if I notice that

For all I know, they made the same demand on Nolan for the first two. They both had a love interest.

I didn't notice it myself when I first watched it. It wasn't until I watched a review that pointed it out that I realized "Yeah, I couldn't hear her that well. You make a good point Mr. Major."

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say. WB has forced a love interest for Batman. I remember reading somewhere that Katie Holmes's character was not in the original draft of Goyer's script.

So what I was saying is that if WB forces another romantic interest, Catwoman is the best choice. The love triangle between Batman, her, and her criminal nature has always worked well in the comics.

I think Anne can pull off catwoman, and don't see why people are thinking she can't do it.

I just hope they know what they're doing with Bane. A character who was solely created to defeat Bruce one time in 1992 and hasn't done anything of real note since. (Hardcore Batfans would argue he has, but I've literally seen more building with the fucking Catman character than Bane)

Anne Hathaway? I.... assume I've seen movies with her in it. I don't know. I'll go with my gut instinct to trust Nolans/Goyer on this one. I hope it will be as worthwhile as TDK. Do I want it to be as popular as TDK? I don't care. I know these guys can make good movies and I hope they continue that streak.
