This video shows some of Capcom's plans for the new Super Street Fighter IV game planned for the 3DS. I like that there are ways for you to get a game with people on the streets.
Unless it becomes hugely popular, it will probably be difficult to find a random matchup while walking down the street, but perhaps there could be Street Fighter "flash mobs" where different locations get announced for impromptu Street Fighter tournaments. If it catches on, it could allow for a comeback in face-to-face competition.

All I know is that we are going to need to have a 3DS friend code list now that you can finally have a universal code across all games. I am kinda psyched to have this version of Street Fighter IV.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

that's a cool idea. Actually that might be the first thing I've heard about 3DS that piqued my interest at all.

If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?
