Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Aw. Nice mellow color scheme. Looks better, though I still feel like its stealing a bit of retail space.
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

The only thing that is different is the top header and the backgrounds.

But you DO see the difference I'm talking about, right?

Opened the picture in Photoshop and checked the RGB values with the eyedropper. The quoted text is pure black 0,0,0. The new text is dark gray 54,54,54. It isn't bothering me, but it is lighter.

Congrats on the new design! I like it a lot.

I keep noticing a bunch of nice touches like the pixel background and the slideshow transitions of the articles on the front page. Keep up the good work on the site, it's coming along nicely.

As far as the ads go, do what you gotta do there, but please no annoying blaring mouse-over flash ads. Those are becoming really common and I loathe them (especially when I am on my little netbook).

BTW, the layout on the Acidtech stylesheet is a bit messed up, but I switched to Glossy Blue and it looks great!

I'll work on tweaking some forum code in a week or two.
These last few weeks have been insane. Somehow a few huge items all ended up on my to-do list at the same time (I hate the beginning of the year)

Site is beautiful!

The Front Page Active Forum Topics is a great idea to give current discussion Front Page exposure. Maybe just some slight tweaking to make it look less cluttered? Perhaps dropping the dates and including the page numbers so one can choose to go right to the last current page? Just the Topic Title and page numbers, no need for the Author or Views icons.

Maybe it could be the same as in the second pic in clear black Bold Face?
