In other words, I don't really dig it. I mean, it looks cool... but I prefer simple. I also see a giant ad on the front page. Perhaps the new design is coinciding with a new ad deal?

Just PLEASE keep the CPU strain down to a minimum. The more basic, the better!
I see no ads...

All of you need

srsly
Well, mainly a VERY large one on the front page. Also, I don't like change (even though it does honestly look great). Change is the devil.

Whaaa...? I come home and click on my Racketboy tab because it's what i do and all the sudden its like WHAAAAAAAAAAAAA different. Caught me by surprise

The forum looks generally the same and i haven't had a chance to explore the front page stuff, but it looks pretty nice. I like!

I love the layout. My jaw dropped when I got on just a second ago. Very impressive.

I love the new look!!! After 5-6 years of coming to the site, I now see how outdated the old look was. I couldnt be happier for our little community and its awesome new update!

Congratulations to Racketboy and everyone who makes this site a big success!

I'd say that the look is an overall improvement to the site; it makes the site look a little more professional, whereas the old site was more like one guy who just decided that he was sick of the Geocities ad bar and got his own host. This makes the new articles pop out more, which is a nice thing in my opinion.

I much prefer the black mosaic background to the eye burning blue from earlier. Very nice tweak.

The layout is very clean (I happen to really like pixel art, must be a retro thing!), and I can appreciate how you've carried the theme throughout the major site elements: main site, forum, store

I've launched a major site or two in my day, so KUDOS to you for a very smooth launch across the RB property.
