Best PSP battery you can buy?

Post by Veno »

A little story before the question. When I needed a new battery, I got it from ebay, and at a good price compared to an official one. Despite the seller's description, which said double the power, I was actually spending half the price on half the power.

Now, my friend just got his pandora battery in the mail. And not just any kind, one of those nice kinds. It was white, with a black stripe down the middle. It had lights telling you how much power it had, and has a button to switch between regular or pandora mode.

Now here's the real kicker. He spent next to nothing on it, maybe around 5 bucks, with free shipping. He said he paid a quarter of the price for double the power.

I've been getting tired of constantly charging my psp while playing, so if I wanted to buy a new battery, should I spend 20 bucks on an official Sony one? Or buy a fancy pandora that has double the power?

And can any of you tell me if the double the power thing is true? It seems way too good to be true, a quarter of the price of an official Sony battery, which double the power AND having the ability to switch between pandora and regular mode.

I have this one and am always amazed by how long it lasts. Easily twice a standard PSP battery or DS battery. Pricier, but worth it:

Agreed. This is the way to go.

Hmm...seems interesting. So, what do you think of my friends battery? You think the description was just misleading him? I find 5 bucks with double the power not very believable.

And I'll definitely give that battery kit a try.
