So who is watching The Cape tonight?

For a badass secret underground superhero, he sure is sloppy.

Leaving his blood on the knife. License plate on the BMW in front of a complex that is probably covered in cameras. (Though the plates could have been fake ala the Transporter.)

I'll lay odds that Orwell is Chess' twisted sister or is living between his walls or something. (After all, only reason Oracle is everywhere is because she's the gosh-darn BATMAN.)

Okay, there's no doubt about it, the show is very cheesy. Feels sort of retro, back when it was normal for genre shows to be cheesy. Anyone remember what Xena was like? The closest thing I can compare the shows overall feel too is, as I mentioned once before, Smallville. There are a lot of cliches in The Cape. I wish the show had somethin unique about it

Episode 1 went too quickly. Playing episode 2 right after was a very good choice. Episode 3 sucked. The preview for Episode 4 looks better. And seriously, have we been provided with a good reason why he can't just show up and say to his wife "I'm not really dead, and our son isn't delusional. Ark is evil, I'm going to take care of it, also, stop having dinner parties with our old friend. He's evil too."

I think there was potential to have an interesting dynamic (which they can still do) and have him be a superhero with a family. . . . that he still lives with. Obviously superhero families have been done, but usually it's the whole family with powers (fantastic 4, incredibles, no ordinary family).

Bleh. My batman tv series would be better.

I believe it was stated that he felt like he was protecting them by staying silent. And I know she loves him and wouldn't want to hurt him and blah, blah, blah, but honestly, I'd be afraid she'd blab. We just saw in Ep. 3 how good she is with withholding information. As soon as she found out he might have been innocent and there were witnesses did she go and talk to them? No. She went and told a man who works for the people that ran him down. Granted, I know she's under the impression that he's a friend, but after his comment at the dinner party last episode, I wouldn't have been telling him a friggin' thing. She's a defense attorney now. She could have found a nice P.I. to do it for her.

I said MY batman tv series, not the guys who did smallville =P I wouldn't trust them with aquaman's cousin.

I know there was talk of a pre-batman batman show though. But I just don't think making shows about superheroes before they were superheroes is a very good idea. The reason characters like Superman and Batman have existed so long is because they ARE superman and batman. Then there's the question of how long you can drag a show on before they finally have to become the superhero you know they're going to become. And then there's the twisting and changing of villains to mash them into the characters' childhoods. So by the time the show's been on a while, their origins have been completely changed.

He does investigative work, and he does work in a private enterprise, and he's a friend who she trusts.
