This Months Nintendo Power
I looked at the cover of my February Nintendo Powes and it features the upcoming release of Pokemon Black and Pokemon White. Is anyone else gonna pick this up, its said to be something fresh, new, and different for the series.

Haha okay well...
Did you ever play Diamond/Pearl? Did you ever play Gold/Silver? Well that's B&W just a little different. Hooray for Pokemon!

Re: This Months Nintendo Power
Pokemon Black and White were announced well over a year ago. Here's some highlights-
-over 160 new pokemon, and until national dex, the Isshu/Unova region will feature exclusively new pokemon. No more geodudes, zubats, and tentacools everywhere.
-Triple battles are employed.
-There's actual areas exclusive to each version, not just pokemon differences.
-Famitsu gave it a perfect 40/40, the first pokemon games to do so.

When I heard about this, I wept tears of joy

Re: This Months Nintendo Power
I've already got the game, and it's alright. Now don't get me wrong, it's Pokemon, it's still a really good game, but it really isn't that revolutionary or mind blowing as the Nintendo Power is making it out to be. The in-game cut-scenes do impress, and the approaches to some of the gyms are new. They changed how your rival works (IE you've got friends in the game AND an asshole rival), but beside these minor tweaks, it's all the same Pokemon affair you've seen before. I'd give it a B+, but that's just me.
