Anyone able/willing to mod my JVC X EYE?

Post by Spike77 »

I would like an S-VIDEO mod at the least not sure if you can get component but just wondering if anybody here has done it before. Of course im willing to pay for it because personally i dont trust myself with it :?

Thanks!

IIRC, the XEYE has the same a/v port as a genesis 2. That means RGB is available on that port. If you ultimately want to go to component, I'd suggest just getting an RGB to component converter. That way you won't even have to open your console.

Has anyone tried those composite/s-video to hdmi upconverters? I havent come across any gamers trying it out. There are no reviews i could find online.

You could also ask electrochip if he could mod it for you - I think he can do both S-video and BIOS mods.

Yup, I can do S-Video or Component, and Bios mod to play US/JPN carts and CD's.
