'course I'm fairly easy to please with dubs, as long as the casting seems appropriate and the performances aren't too flat or unsuitably obnoxious I'm fine with it.
Do you like Naga? If so, you should check out the other movies and OVAs. I feel like she is what made them special as they never used her in the tv series.
Anyway, I always go with subtitles, but I have seen enough decent dubs to not be all snobby about it, not anymore anyway LOL. I used to be, but I have found some anime to be quite enjoyable dubbed. Those Asian movie dubs though, MY GOD! THE HORROR!

I liked Naga quite a lot so I'll have to check them out sometime.

I've met Lisa Ortiz, and that's more or less her normal speaking voice, believe it or not. She was a perfect match for Lina, and she does pretty well as Amy in the dubbed Sonic games, but I really can't handle her as Deedlit in Record of Lodoss War.

I couldn't handle Deedlit as a CHARACTER
Well, not in the OVA. I didn't see the tv series, but in the OVA I liked Ashram and Pirotess. Who cares if they were villains? They were still cool damnit
I never imagined that was Lisa Ortiz real voice. That's interesting, so she basically IS Lina Inverse LOL

She seemed fine to me in the subbed version of the OVA. She was much worse in the manga.

Oh for sure. I was elated that they got their own series--and then crushed when I saw that the animation was terrible.

Sort of... but with far fewer explosions.
Thank god, it's nice to know that Lisa doesn't have a short temper than can level whole cities

FMA had decent voice acting, but it drove me crazy how Al was always calling Ed "brother". Sure, that's the translation, but it sounds so unnatural in english. There's just some facets of the language that we don't have a real equivalent to here.

I always liked to attribute it to the fact it takes place in a parallel pre-WWI Europe (in the original anime) so the language barrier is double confused.
"The sad thing is they'd probably throw someone like Zorro in Arkham." - Thomas Wayne
It's based on a horror anime. Apparently the source material was so horrible, the dubbers decided to just have a blast and rewrote the whole script turning it into comedy gold.
Wow. That really is something. Did they air that thing???
Ivo.
P.S. The Angel Beats opening is good, but I still like Saint Seiya.
