I don't need to give Comcast my money so they can treat me like shit and try to screw me over.
Fight the power man.

Some people, including the asshole comcast salesmen at the store who just won't take no for an answer (one guy actually made a big scene with me once) have tried to convince me to switch to comcast tv service.

I've said it many times, I'd rather have no tv at all (and I've done it before) than ever use comcast again.

The thing with Comcast is that their costumer service is terrible? I want to get a slight grasp of the reason of all the hate.

The residential side of Comcast is terrible. They know it too, trust me. The good news is that they are slowly fixing it. Recently they made some major changes internally and in the near future you should start seeing more changes on the outside. On the converse - the Commercial side of Comcast is actually really good. And you can get commercial internet at your house, just no tv. Its uncapped, unmonitored, and if you only get internet on the residential side, it is the same price.

I buy a Bandwidth of 3MB/s so I think it's fine. But they are going to double it to 6 MB/s soon.

And yes, I pay 40€ for this. It's the best service I can get as far as I know so it's not like I have any other choice.

This is probably the reason why I can't play TF2 well =/

I recently upgraded from DSL to cable and went from about .5 MBS down to this:

Nice improvement for almost no money. It is about the same price for Xfinity triple play as it was for just my phone and crappy DSL through Verizon.

The only thing I hate about my ISP is they are very unreliable. At peek hours usually around 6pm-3am EST my speed will drop to 2MB/s often and we lose connection all the time.
