Was that decent at all?

There is a reason I have only attempted to play through this game twice in half a decade.

It was so good, every other JRPG seems horrible? .....good thing I never bought this. Then again after Megaman X7 I pretty much stopped trusting Capcom and the way they treat Megaman.

Golden Sun Dark Dawn. I'm enjoying it OK so far, although the tutorial is irritating me (having played the previous 2 games about 10 times each). It's one of the tutorials of the "Do you want to know how to do this?" "No" "Oh, so you know that all you need to do is [insert the same longass explanation as if you'd pressed yes here]" varieties.

Still, I'm hoping for good things from this. I absolutely LOVE the first two. I'm looking forward to finding out about the former characters too. The game already explained what the 5 male characters from the previous games are up to, but has kept quiet about the 3 girls, who I'm assuming are the new characters mothers in some way or another, but the game doesnt want to tell me too soon. It's sad that I actually am dying to know too

Super Mario RPG. I'm almost done with it but I've been having a blast. I've heard people bash it and say its not as good as Paper Mario but I think comparison between the two is unfair. I find the Mario universe in RPG form to be downright charming and I'm in love with the art design in everything. I'm pretty sure I'll finish it this week and plan on playing Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance for something completely different.

Lufia & the Fortress of Doom (SNES). A little TOO old school for my taste, with a high random encounter rate and an archaic combat system that makes your party strike at an empty space if the enemy who was there is killed before your turn.
Dragon Age: Origins (PS3). Loving this. I really hope DAII doesn't dumb this down too much!
SMT: Strange Journey (DS). It's got an extremely deep and complicated system for building a party, and it's been fun, but I am getting a little bored with going through the same mazes over and over.

Alternating between those three.

I've been going between FF9 and Paper Mario TYD. I have a ton of RPGs just waiting to be played (chrono trigger/cross, FF1, FF4-6, Mario RPG)
