Anyone have any Twin Galaxies records here?

Anyone ever considered trying to overtake some of the record holders high scores from the classic games? You know like Ms. Pac Man, Robotron 2084, etc.

I think it would be pretty cool if someone from this generation of gaming claimed a top spot on a classic. I bet it would garner a lot of attention too and would boost the retro gaming scene.

I may submit Osu! Tatakae Ouendan and Elite Beat Agents records soon, I can perfect clear most songs after a bit of practise.

Too bad they don't accept PC submissions, that's the main obstacle they have to earn my respect as a videogame authority.

I've got a tape recorded to send in, but I'm waiting to hear back from a judge first. I'm not sure if a few of my methods will be approved. If they get rejected I'll just have to redo it. But if it gets approved I should have a pretty solid speed run for TMNT (NES).

Normally you submit a tape or video, unless they host an event like the ones they do at Funspot, a classic arcade.

I would love to hold a twin galaxies record some day. To have a record on Galaga would be amazing. Obviously I'll never get that good because I'm not that dedicated to that kind of cause.

PC games would be too easy to cheat and hack. The only way I could see them accepting any PC records was if you played it on their computer at their facility under watchful eyes.
