So I finally ordered a SNES, and while I'm awaiting for it to arrive I thought I might as well get a blog started over at RF generation
so presenting:
Super Nintendo Land
http://www.rfgeneration.com/blogs/ZeroAX/
I've got 2 articles, and a general update on what I was doing, up. Please enjoy.

I was a bit confused by this in your first post:
I also like how each button on the console is a totally different shape, to emphasize its different use (god knows how many times I pressed the wrong button on the Gamecube... well 2 or 3 times, but I was trying to make a point)
The super nintendo buttons are all the same shape. The gamecube ones aren't. I thought maybe you meant to say colour, but with the exception of the X and Y buttons, the buttons on the gamecube are differently coloured too.

OMG it's so cool I got mentioned in the podcast
:D:D
It must be years since the last time I heard my nick being read correctly (in Greek X=H so I'm ZeroAH
).
@alienjesus
I was talking about the reset power and eject buttons. The ones on the console.

The SNES is super fun, imo the best console.

great idea mate! Along with NoiseRedux and his Gameboy player land, you two could be like Arnold and Danny Devito from Twins.
Can't wait to see the reviews!

Can you do a funny accent? I sure can
Though come to think of it, I'm not sure I want to be either of them
